Epoxy floorings

What are epoxy floor coverings?

These are floorings suitable for indoor spaces such as: parking lots, warehouses, industrial halls, hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories and others.
Epoxy floorings are used in different rooms where floorings must be resistant to traffic, dust, shocks, slipping, acids, chemicals. These floorings are also suitable for use on antistatic floor coverings

Advantages of the epoxy coating:

  • Long-term sustainability and long service life.
  • Different coating thicknesses.
  • Resistant to mechanical stresses and wear.
  • With added quartz in the joint for anti-slip, abrasion, mechanical and chemical resistance.
  • Antibacterial smooth surfaces.
  • With the option of adding colored or glass beads to achieve a decorative effect, suitable for offices, apartments, houses, shops, art workshops, galleries, etc.

Our products

These floorings have all the necessary properties for good resistance to constant mechanical and chemical stresses. The good aesthetic appearance and properties described above make this flooring the ideal solution for moderate and heavy traffic areas.

If a smoother and brighter surface is required for light and medium intensive traffic, water based epoxy coatings are the right choice. The epoxy paint layer allows easier cleaning and reflection of the light, resulting in increased brightness of workplaces.

Advantages of water-based epoxy flooring:

  • Can be applied to concrete (floor and wall) in a thin layer;
  • With excellent application in the sanitary and food industry;
  • Applies to indoor and outdoor areas and is resistant to moisture.

Water based epoxy floorings consist of:

  • ITALPOX 70. Water based 2-component epoxy product. Used for reinforcement and protective layer. The technical data sheet can be downloaded here.

In addition to the mechanical and chemical resistance of the epoxy floor, depending on the working environment, in certain cases, the coating must provide elimination of static energy in the floor. In these situations, in order to reduce the risk of static electricity, we offer an electrostatic conductive system designed to ensure safety at the workplace.

Advantages of antistatic epoxy flooring:

  • Certified systems;
  • Recommended for premises with electronic equipment, flammable materials and explosion risk, etc.;
  • Have good mechanical and chemical resistance.

Antistatic epoxy floors consist of:

  • ITALPOX 70. Primer for concrete floors, with very good mechanical properties and high resistance to solvents and moisture-permeable. The technical data sheet can be downloaded here.
  • SUPERCONDUPLAST. Special primer for antistatic coating that dissipates electrostatic charges accumulated on the floor. The technical data sheet can be downloaded here.
  • CONDUPLAST. Product based on epoxy resins, based on amines and carbon fibers. The technical data sheet can be downloaded here
  • PAVIWATER ANTISTATICO. Water-based anti-static epoxy coating, which is used as a final resin coating. The technical data sheet can be downloaded here.

Thanks to FLAMECHECK technology, this product provides protection in case of fire. The product can change its structure to a temperature of 150 oC to form an insulating carbon foam.

Solid epoxy flooring is recommended for public spaces (clubs, cinemas, theaters, schools, etc.), as well as in the electronics industry, IT sector, operating rooms, or where there is a risk of static energy accumulation at floor level.

Advantages of enamelled epoxy floors:

  • Fire resistance class Bfl-S1;
  • Dark epoxy floors have a high degree of thermal protection and a flame resistance between 1-2 hours;
  • Floor covering is produced in a wide range of colors;
  • Used for metal struts (pillars, beams, etc.).

These enamelled epoxy floors consist of:

  • RESINA 530  Fire retardant. The product is based on epoxy resins and hardeners with very good reactivity even at low temperatures. The technical data sheet can be downloaded here.
  • PAVIPLAST Fire retardant. The product is based on epoxy resins and hardeners and is used to create anti-slip surfaces. The technical data sheet can be downloaded here.

Polyurethane floorings

What are polyurethane floor coverings?

Polyurethane floor coverings can be used in a wide range of applications as they have excellent covering properties and very good application efficiency.This type of flooring is the best solution for areas with high risk of hits, intense traffic and scratches. Together with epoxy floors, they are part of self-leveling floor systems and are recommended for indoor and outdoor sports grounds, athletic paths, covered parking lots and more.

Advantages of polyurethane floors:

  • Long service life up to 50 years;
  • Polyurethane flooring looks beautiful, with a wide variety of colors and different layer thicknesses;
  • They are economically profitable floors, as they do not require high operating costs, can be applied indoors or outdoors.
  • Allow repairs only in the affected area.
  • They are characterized by elasticity, flexibility and shock absorption.
  • Due to their density, they are soundproof, slip resistant and abrasion resistant.
  • Resistant to dust and detergents, not affected by rain and snow.
  • Easy to apply.

Our products

These floors are made up of special resins and blends. Depending on the density, they can be elastic or rigid. Due to these properties, they are recommended for indoor and outdoor sports grounds, athletic paths, covered car parks, food industry and others.

Unlike epoxy floors, polyurethanes are significantly more sensitive to moisture and therefore require more time to cure.
